Branded juice...

Did you ever dreamt of Priyaka Chopra bringing you Chickoo juice or Madhuri Dixit with Carrot & Beet juice... waiting just for you? What does Amir Khan prefer next to Coke? What vision Salman and Aishwarya share in common for good of people? Still din't got it? Ok lets put it this way, Nowadays Bollywood stars are more interested in public health matter. I think Govt. might have assigned them duty to put it this way...

As I walk towards my office from Lower parel to Phoenix mill, Aishwarya urges me to have Pineapple Juice with her killer smile while Salman and Aishwarya come together suggest me to have a Cocktail juice. Amir prefers Grape juice but on other hand Shahrukh khan don't leave me any choice but Watermelon juice. Happy couple Kajol and Ajay offers me to have Apple juice with a dash of smile... I don't know why Priyanka Chopra wants me to have Chickoo juice? It is ruining her brand image, I mean she should have chosen some rich fruit... Dr. Nene's wife Madhuri Dixit strongly advice me to take Carrot and Beet juice daily...

No it's not a dream but it really flatters me when I see dream-girls and stud-boys endorsing their brands daily. I think bollywood is has taken initiative towards good health. Now, I need to join gym back again!!!

The titles that made me guilty...

... Jugnu
Awara
Sajaan
Maine Pyar Kiya… My friend was suggesting me names of movies he thought were great... I was writting them down fast because sir was almost finished with his writing on blackboard. We both were happy and contented because we both were writting our own things... It was going on...
Aashiqui
Chadhti Jawani
House No. 17
Darinda
Raat... etc. etc. List was endless and was still goin on in my class of 4th "A". Fan was still rotating and my friend was still looking at her… And she was still copying the board in her book…

... Dosti
Albela
Akela
Bees saal baad
Haveli
Khooni Shaitan ... finally my mom stopped reading at the last title numbered 105... I was standing guiltily in front of my mom. And I never saw that page again in this universe. I was verry angry, since I had decided to watch these movies with my “to-be—but-not-yet-decided-girl-friend”. It took an hour for me, i.e. 2 periods that day and my friend to compile these movie titles on last page of my notebook. Which was a strictly no-no for students like us… I ask why not? So I did. But answer was a slap and a warning. I couldn’t show my face to my mom for a week for that. But thank god that my class teacher was not aware of that… huh!

The reason why I remember all this at this point of time is that, today I subscribed for Seventymm. A largest Indian movie bar where I can watch movies. I was very happy. As soon as my registration was done I was thinking which movies to watch and which to not! A list again??? And suddenly a boy appeared in front of my eyes, who was writing names of movies on a piece of paper to watch with future girlfriend and one who was standing guiltily in front of mom. A slap and warning. I was smiling, and couldn’t explain to my colleagues why was I… I thought I should share this experience with friends and shed off some guilt in my life bygive them a light laugh.

And now guys…
… Roman Holiday
Memoirs of Geisha
Capote
Moulin Rouge
Million Dollar baby
Little miss sunshine…

This time hoping not to get slapped ...Naah! Here it goes again!
… Gladiator
Crash
Gone in sixty seconds
Life is beautiful…

colored?? who?

This poem was nominated by UN as the best poem of 2006 Written by an African Kid.

When I born, I black
When I grow up, I black
When I go in Sun, I black
When I scared, I black
When I sick, I black
And when I die, I still black
And you white fellow
When you born, you pink
When you grow up you white
When you go in sun, you red
When you cold, you blue
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you gray
And you calling me colored??

I don't think so...

I want to see everyone in the world smiling and happy....
Is that supposed to turn off my happiness? I don't think so...

I think everyone is right in their own way...
Does that mean i am wrong? I don't think so...

I can't stand oversmart people...
Do I sound like have a big attitude? I dont think so...

I like to make new friends and colleagues...
Do I forget old pals? I dont think so...

I do analyse people...
Am I a critic? I dont think so...

I like to speak my mind...
Am I being too bold? I dont think so...

I know the race is long & competition fierce...
Does it stop me from trying? I dont think so...

I don't think this, I don't think that...
Let me know what do you think, I am thinking?

I am rambling a lot about myself...
Should I stop? Do you think so?

Starry eyes...

After returning from mahalaxmi temple my eyes caught a giant wheel in a funfair. My heart gave a jolt of cheer. I always liked fun-n-fairs especially for great rides in giant wheel. You may call me a kid, which I would happily accept as a compliment.

What is so exciting about fun-n-fair? May be the name itself unfolds its gist. In my school days I never missed it, come what may... The world is so colourful and cheerful out there... Joyous rides and exciting games made me forget the History teacher and homework too! What else can a kid expect? The Magician's stall added to my delight! Watching him pull out a rabbit from a hat out of nowhere, making all 52 cards same! And after learning that, it always gave me something to boast about in class the next day!

So the giant wheel took me 10 years back to my school days! So without wasting much time, I got into a queue and bought a ticket. And during the time I was waiting for my turn for a ride, I saw 4 boys pleading with ticket master for a free ride. I was keeping an eye on what was going on there.

Finally my turn arrived and I took my seat. Now I waited for the giant wheel to start it's magic. Two of those four boys sat in front of me. Their cloths were slightly torn and soiled. Though neatly dressed. I think they were staying on some footpath nearby. And finally the wheel started rotating. There was sudden vaccum in my stomach and some wobbling sensation as the wheel took us high. And as it brought us down we started screamng our lungs out. It was hard to guess, who was the kid here!

The panorama up there was breathtaking. I was closest to the sky then anyone else in the whole city at that point of time. It was a starry night. Full of small embedded sparkling diamonds. The moon was shining to it's fullest. The voluntary and involuntary lurch of the lights of the cars down below illuminated the road. I was just inbetween them. It was more than just beautiful, it was almost a spiritual moment. Reality weaved its intricate illusions but I, for once, was unaffected. I was an outsider looking in. The best state to enjoy the life to it's fullest!

But then suddenly something hit me harder than anything else ever had! Starry eyes! Four of them. They were more beautiful than the stars. I wondered, when was the last time I saw such beautiful eyes! There was something deep. Maybe it was aftermath. As in, the life at that moment was same for all three of us, enjoying the moment. The only difference was our past and future! It was a point where three circles intersected each other. One of the highest node of life.

And then I started thinking, whats next? At that moment we were more than just three people on a giant wheel. Something had erased all the differences which society had painstakingly set up. But soon the giant wheel will turn and we would descend back into the throes of society. What then? Atop the wheel it was as if life had started anew, a clean slate. We all had a chance to live life the way we wanted. But will harsh reality foster such ambigous notions? Will life ever treat us the way the wheel did? Or they will start their life again as street-children?

The only solution according to me was that the wheel should never stop... Those starry eyes...
